Gomolsha

If you try to find some information on Gomolshansky National Nature Park searching the web – you won’t find much. The Park is new, and is known only by lovers. By those who know how to appreciate and enjoy the natural beauty around us. Some people had luck last year to see, try and taste it – during international volunteer workcamp, which was organized on the territory of the Park in August 2007.

We worked outside in the nature, creating eco-route and cleaning the territory. We had campfire every evening, and discussed a lot of things, cultural peculiarities of our countries, youth life and music. We learnt about flora and fauna of the Park, history of the area, had excursion to biological station of University, and a trip to Kharkiv to see the celebrations of the “City Day”, with some beers and night walks in the city.
